H & N Group has a passion for seafood and the ocean.

As a leading seafood supplier, we feel it is our responsibility to ensure our products are safe and sustainable. We have a saying at H & N “One Boat, One Team.” The entire seafood industry needs to be on the same boat working as one team. We have affiliated with a number of associations to work together to continue to improve on food safety, responsible sourcing, education and so much more.

National Fisheries Institute (NFI)

H & N Group has been a member of NFI for many years.  We believe in their mission and know they are an integral component of the seafood industry. Executive Vice President, Christine Ngo represented our Company in the first Future Leaders Class in 1998. Within NFI, we actively participate in The Shrimp Council, Seafood Industry Research Fund (SIRF) and The Better Seafood Board (BSB).

NFI's Mission

From healthy eating and sustainable fishing to responsible aquaculture and a marketplace supporting free trade, the National Fisheries Institute (NFI) and AboutSeafood.com work to ensure the media, consumers and regulators have the facts about seafood. NFI and their members support sound public policy and nutrition information based on ground truth science.

NFI has launched Dish on Fish, a blog where you can bookmark new seafood recipes and learn relevant, relatable and easy-to- understand health and nutrition information about seafood, http://dishonfish.com/.

Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA)

H & N Group knows that our business is dependent on responsible aquaculture. As the world’s population grows the demand for aquaculture will increase and our industry needs to be prepared. GAA provides networking opportunities that continue to move our industry in the right direction. Founded in 1997, GAA is an international non-governmental organization dedicated to advocacy, education and leadership in responsible aquaculture.

GAA's Mission

To promote responsible aquaculture practices through education, advocacy and demonstration. For over 20 years, GAA has demonstrated their commitment to feeding the world through responsible and sustainable aquaculture. To learn more visit https://www.aquaculturealliance.org/.
